On its Facebook page, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that both sides discussed the progress witnessed in all indicators of the Egyptian economy over the past few years, which contributed to limiting the repercussions of coronavirus crisis and the Ukrainian crisis.



Abu Bakr said that Egypt is looking forward to pumping more Japanese investments in the market especially as President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is interested in boosting Egyptian-Japanese ties at different levels in a way that will open the door for Japanese companies to benefit from the increasing investment opportunities in Egypt.


Meanwhile, Akio expressed his desire to deepen aspects of cooperation within the coming period with the Federation of the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and joint business council to facilitate pumping more Japanese investments in different domains in Egypt.
