CAIRO - 10 January 2022: South Korean President Moon Jae-in would visit Egypt this month, said the South Korean embassy in a statement.
 
South Korean Ambassador to Egypt Hong Jin-wook would hold a press conference on Sunday, January 16 to announce the details of the visit of the Korean President to Egypt.
 
The Korean Presidency announced that President Moon would embark on a Middle East trip to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt to enhance potentials of cooperation in the field of energy, infrastructure and construction, Yonhap news agency reported on Monday.
 
Moon’s visit to Egypt would be on January 20-21, 2022 as Cairo would be the last destination he would visit in his trip, the news agency added.
 
The Middle East trip would start on January 16 in the UAE where he would stay for two days. Afterward, Moon would visit Saudi Arabia on January 18 and 19.
