CAIRO - 23 December 2021: The Egyptian border guard managed to accomplish several achievements last month as part of efforts to arrest smugglers and criminal elements and foil schemes seeking to undermine the country's national security and jeopardize stability.
The forces seized up to 240 arms, 120 magazines and 9,000 bullets.
As for drug trafficking, up to 1,050 kilograms of hashish and 1,020 kilograms of marijuana were seized along with 93,000 pills of drugs and 10 kilograms of opium.
Regarding illegal migration, around 2,267 illegal migrants of different nationalities were arrested.
