CAIRO - 13 December 2021:  Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Monday inspected the pavilion of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) at Sharm El Sheikh International Conference Center on the fringe of the current activities of the ninth session of the Conference of States Parties (COSP) to the UN Convention against Corruption.


The premier was accompanied by a number of ministers, South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda and ACA Chairman Hassan Abdel Shafei.

Madbouly was briefed on the components of ACA pavilion which included an interactive screen to display the official website of ACA and the national strategy for combating corruption as well as fields of cooperation between the authority and other relevant bodies.

He praised the distinguished pavilion of ACA and its unique publications on the efforts exerted to counter and combat corruption in all its forms, extending thanks to ACA officials for such strenuous efforts.

Before the inaugural session, the flags of the UN organization and Egypt were hoisted at the premises of COSP by the premier and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Ghada Wali.

The head of ACA assumed the presidency of the COSP current session ahead of the session deliberations and a documentary film was displayed under the name of "The Road From Abu Dhabi to Sharm El Sheikh" which focused on the international efforts exerted by parties signatory to the UN convention against corruption over the past phase and means of improving direct cooperation in this regard.

The Conference is one of the world's largest anti-corruption gatherings and brings together people from Member States, parliaments, inter-governmental organizations, civil society and the private sector
