CAIRO – 3 July 2021: Egypt’s Meteorological Authority (EMA) stated that the country will witness very high temperature degree, affected by India’s seasonal depression.

 

EMA has warned citizens to avoid direct exposure to sun, to stay away from poorly-ventilated places and to hydrate.

 

Egypt is among a number of Arab countries that are affected by the hot weather.

 

Kuwait  48 °C

Medina  47 °C

Riyadh  46 °C

Mecca   43 °C

Baghdad  46 °C

Abu Dhabi  42 °C

Doha  45 °C

 

For local temperature degrees on Saturday:

 

Cairo records highs of 40°C and lows of 26°C

Alexandria records highs of 31°C and lows of 24°C

Matrouh records highs of 31°C and lows of 24°C

Sohag records highs of 45°C and lows of 26°C

Qena records highs of 45°C and lows of 26°C

Aswan records highs of 45°C and lows of 29°C

 

For local temperature degrees on Sunday:

 

Cairo records highs of 37°C and lows of 25°C

Alexandria records highs of 31°C and lows of 23°C

Matrouh records highs of 29°C and lows of 26°C

Sohag records highs of 39°C and lows of 26°C

Qena records highs of 41°C and lows of 26°C

Aswan records highs of 43°C and lows of 28°C
