CAIRO - 1 June 2020: The Coptic Orthodox Church on Tuesday launched an English website to mark the anniversary of Christ’s arrival in Egypt.

In a message in English, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese said the translated version of the original website is meant to address new generations, especially Copts in English speaking countries.

Earlier in the day, Pope Tawadros led a Mass in Abu Serga Church marking the entry of the Holy Family to Egypt.

The church was one of the places in which Jesus Christ and the Holy Family lived during their stay in Egypt.

Coptic Orthodox Church bishops, priests and deacons took part in the Mass amid strict precautionary measures against the coronavirus.
