Credit Facilities
The Central Bank clarified, in its Financial Stability Report 2020, that the balances of credit facilities granted to the largest 100 borrowing clients rose to LE 507.6 billion by the end of June 2021.
The financing facilities will be used in financing environmentally compatible projects and the general budget.
CBE indicated that 81 percent of the facilities has already been used for the industrial, agricultural and service sectors for 126,000 small and medium-sized companies, in addition to microfinance for more than 900,000 micro-clients.
