It’s worth noting that in Egypt there are two types of bread, one of them is the tourist bread which is unsubsidized bread that a citizen buys without a ration card.
The decision encompassed rice, pasta, dairy products, oils, beans, sugar, and certain types of cheese.
In the coming days, higher committees will be established to oversee the pricing of free bread, taking into account flour prices and various cost factors.

The Cabinet media center dismissed reports that the government decided to increase the price of subsidized bread as of November.
During the meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Moselhi said the Ministry of Supply has secured more than 400 points to receive local wheat this year, affirming that there are enough strategic capacities to receive this quantity of local wheat.
