Port Said Culture Palace
The book fair is held as part of the celebrations of choosing Port Said as Egypt’s Capital of Culture.
During the performances, the Children Folklore Troupe presented numerous dance shows related to the culture and heritage of the Egyptian coastal city of Port Said.
The play is written by Safaa al-Beyali and directed by Mohammed Saber.
Under the auspices of Egypt’ President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Governor of Port Said Adel El-Ghadhban will launch the celebration held for choosing Port Said Governorate as the Egyptian Capital of Culture.
The concert have been cancelled as a precautionary measure to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, especially that reported cases have been on the rise lately.
The performances were staged on the Port Said Culture Palace Theater amid tight measures to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
Egypt’s Supreme Council of Culture will organize a culture meeting titled "The October War in the Popular Conscience : A symposium of models and heroism on the October War and the tripartite aggression” at October 6 – 7 at 6 p.m. in Port Said Cultural Palace.
