Brendan Rodgers
Vardy and Maddison are likely to be rested for Saturday’s FA Cup clash at Stoke City to allow them to fully recover from injuries.
Rodgers described Vardy as a “world-class” striker after he came back from a calf injury to score the winner in Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League victory at Arsenal.
Rodgers added that playing defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as a makeshift centre back was an option he would consider.
