In a statement on Wednesday, the Egyptian military spokesman said the planes carried large quantities of tents, blankets, food, medicines, and medical supplies presented by both ministries of defense and health.
The shipment included 265 tons of medicines and medical supplies for the treatment from coronavirus and chronic diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes.
Sisi warned against threats facing the security and stability of Lebanon, affirming the need to spare Lebanon regional conflicts and to focus on strengthening the Lebanese state institutions, so that it can fulfill its national responsibility in achieving stability.
Kiir thanked his Egyptian counterpart, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, for Egypt’s support to people of South Sudan at the times of crises, as he received Egyptian Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati.
The Egyptian State is keen to support and assist Lebanon in the aftermath of the massive deadly explosion that rocked Beirut on August 4.
