Torrential Rains
After the city of Ras Ghareb was hit by a huge flood in 2016, causing heavy losses in the civilian population, the state embarked on constructing a large number of giant projects of lakes and dams to protect citizens, and private and public property from the dangers of floods.
The Umm Al-Bared Dam is located in the village of Al-Tamd, with a length of 250 meters, a height of 7 meters, and a storage capacity of 3 million cubic meters of water.
