Prime Minister Fayez El Sarraj and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in November last year signed an MoU on the "delimitation of maritime jurisdictions,” which Egypt has strongly condemned.
The United Arab Emirates supports efforts of the international community to reach a political solution to the Libyan crisis and Egyptian “great” efforts in this regard, out of a belief that stability in a Libya is a pillar of Egyptian and national security to Egypt, the Emirati foreign minister said.
Egypt will not allow Libya to become a new hotbed for terrorism or outlawed elements, even if it means that Egypt has to intervene directly in Libya.
