Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Khaled Ibrahim described the Sudanese-Egyptian relations as ‘firm’ on Monday.
Former Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, who was relieved of his duties after stating that Khartoum would sign a peace treaty with Israel, said he made his remark because the ministry is "completely absent from this file."
"Ethiopian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation denied media reports on filling the controversial Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) before reaching a bidding agreement with the downstream countries (Egypt and Sudan)," announced the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
