Omran added, during a press conference held, Monday, that the value of financing balances for medium, small and micro enterprises amounted to LE 26.8 billion at the end of 2021, compared to LE 19.3 billion at the end of 2020, with a growth rate of 38.9 percent.
The Minister of Finance stated that the cost of the increase in the wages of state employees in next year's budget represents LE 37 billion.
The initiative – dubbed Forsa (opportunity) and launched in 2019 – is aimed at funding small enterprises in the agricultural sector.
