Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Monday discussed with European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi the activation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and the European Union and the preparations for the investment conference scheduled to be held next month in Cairo.
“We will redirect up to €89m of funds foreseen for Egypt to face emergencies due to pandemic and to support the immediate needs of the public health system,” added Varhelyi.
