Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang hailed on Sunday Egypt's role to solve the current conflict in the Gaza Strip and efforts to reach a ceasefire.
The priority in distributing the vaccine will be given to the medical staff in isolation hospitals, as well as chest and fevers hospitals, she said.
Egypt is expected to be the African hub for manufacturing China’s vaccine for Covid-19 shortly after proven effective against the pandemic; Egypt’s Health Ministry Spokes Person Khaled Megahed said.
The shipment includes 10,000 N95 respirator masks, 10,000 protective suits, 70,000 DNA detectors, Ambassador Liao Liqiang said in a Twitter post.
