G20 Compact With Africa
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Cairo on Wednesday evening after he concluded his official visit to Berlin during which he attended the G20 Compact with Africa (CwA).
Heads of many leading German companies hailed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s personal and periodical review of the measures taken to facilitate the work of German companies in Egypt, a statement by the Presidency read.
President Sisi affirmed that combating terrorism and extremist ideology with the aim of achieving security and stability is part of human rights that must be guaranteed by each state through actual practices on the ground.
Chancellor Merkel reiterated that Egypt is considered one of Germany's key partners in the Middle East.
The G20 Compact with Africa initiative aims to support economic cooperation between Africa and G20 countries through joint projects that contribute to accelerating development in the continent.
