Egypt and India have agreed on boosting their trade and cooperation in various fields as they celebrate this year the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
In a phone call on Friday, Shoukry congratulated Jaishankar on the occasion of the New Year, a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry read.
India stripped its portion of Muslim-majority Kashmir of autonomy and statehood on Aug. 5.
