Egypt Today sat with Japanese Ambassador to Cairo Masaki Noke, who was attending the summit himself, and shared his views and insights on Japan’s long-time support to the continent, besides Egypt’s debut co-chairing of the summit.
Happening every three years, the summit seeks to better display Africa’s abundant resources to global investors, provide financial facilities and help the continent find African solutions to African problems.
The forum displayed opportunities available in various sectors in the Arab World, where Japanese investors are encouraged to tap in.
“Africa is a continent of opportunities, and it needs investments and trade more than aid."
Egypt Today paid a visit to the venue, where the largest business forum in Japan will take place.
“We are hoping that under Egypt’s chairmanship of the African Union, we could make a further advancement of the Japan’s contribution to Africa.”
Sisi expressed deep appreciation to the people and government of Japan for hosting (TICAD7 YOKOHAMA 2019) slated for August 28-30.
We believe that Egypt is taking successful steady steps towards achieving stable economy for the country, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)’s Middle East division Director Masataka TAKESHITA told Egypt Today.
