Sun Alignment
Why Sun Alignment phenomena didn’t happen on Ramses II statue at Grand Egyptian Museum this year?
Festivities took place in front of Abu Simbel Temple on Tuesday as part of the celebrations ahead of the sun alignment on King Ramses II.
Such phenomenon happens twice a year over Kaaba on May 27 and July 15.
Several African diplomats watched Friday the sun alignment on the statute of Pharaoh Ramses II at Egypt’s Abu Simbel temple, as many spectators gathered to attend the phenomenon.
This phenomenon happens twice per year on the anniversaries of Paranoiac king’s birthday and coronation on October 22 and February 22 respectively.
