Giza's 6th of October Dry Port has already been inaugurated, while contracts to finance, design, construct, operate, and maintain the dry port and logistic center at the 10th of Ramadan City in Cairo had been signed.

He pointed out that the first phase of the 6th of October Port, which is the first of its kind in Egypt, will enter service during this year.
The port and center, to be built over 250 feddans, are meant to maximize the contribution of the private sector to development projects, Maait said in a statement Monday.
The site has been handed over to a coalition of contractors who must finish the first phase by the end of 2021.
The minister of transport said the establishment of a dry port with an attached logistics center aims to facilitate the movement of trade and services in the industrial areas in 10th of Ramadan, Badr, Ain Sokhna and East Port Said.
