100 Million Seha
Egypt succeeded to be the first country in the world free of the Hepatitis C virus.
One Million and 100.000 women were examined as part of the “Maternal and Fetal Health” presidential initiative aims to monitor the health of the mother and newborn until 42 days after birth, according to Egypt’s Minister of Health Hala Zayed.
The "100 Million Healthy Lives" campaign for eradicating hepatitis virus C was launched in the Upper Egypt governorate of Aswan.
