U.S. Embassy in Cairo supports the 44th of Cairo International Film Festival
The almost yearly partnership of Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) and the U.S. embassy this year is marked by special cooperation as Egypt prepares to host COP27 in November: integrating environmental consciousness into the film industry.
The event, presented by Film Independent and the U.S. Embassy in Egypt, was moderated by Lebanese producer Myriam Sassine.
Various projects by directors and producers from the Arab world competed in CineGouna Platform, seeking creative and financial support.
