Production index for Transformative and Extractive Industries
The production index of ready-to-wear clothes recorded 114.25 in October 2022 compared with 107.94 in September, recording an increase of 6.04 percent, according to the CAPMAS.
The State's body said the industrial activities that reported an index increase included pharmaceutical and chemical products that reached 114.36 in February 2021 compared to 99.66 in January, recording a 14.74% hike.
The index of printing and cloning industry rose 12.5 percent, recording 174.43 during May 2019, compared to 155.1 in the prior month, due to higher supply contracts.
The index of base metals industry rose 16 percent, recording 82.65 during April 2019, compared to 71.22 in the prior month because of the high supply contracts and the availability of energy.
The index of food products industry rose 16.6 percent, recording 108.72 during March 2019, compared to 93.22 in the prior month.

The production index of ready-to-wear clothes declined to 210.35 in September, down 14.6 percent from 246.33 for August, the report said.
The production index of ready-to-wear clothes registered 246.33 in August 2018 compared with 199.49 in July, at a 23.5 percent uptick.
