The former monk Ash’eyaa of the St. Macarius Monastery confessed Sunday that he failed two attempts to murder head of the monastery Bishop Epiphanius.
Bishop Epiphanius was found dead on July 29 inside his monastery.
Former monk Ash’eyaa al-Makary of the St. Macarius Monastery tried to commit suicide morning, a day after the Coptic Church stripped him of his sacerdotal rank.
