Darb el Ahmar
Minister of Antiquities, Dr. Khaled al-Anany, revealed that there were several problems that arose during the restoration of al-Maridany Mosque in el-Darb el-Ahmar district in Cairo, due to the groundwater and sewage, which negatively affected it.
Archaeologist Sameh el Zahar, a specialist in Islamic and Coptic archaeology, dismissed claims circulated on removing basalt tiles floor at Al Moez Ldin Allah Al Fatimi Street.
