Military Parade
Trump said he had cancelled a military parade planned for November due to high costs -- hours after the Pentagon indefinitely postponed the much-maligned event.
A U.S. official said it was unclear exactly what caused the postponement but the increased cost of the event had caused concern and could be one reason.
Trump has ordered Pentagon and White House officials to begin planning a military parade in Washington similar to the Bastille Day parade he witnessed in Paris.
