Egypt’s government continues to intensify efforts to enhance its business climate to further attract foreign direct investments and stimulate private sector investments, as outlined in its State Ownership Policy Document
Egypt came as the best attractive destination for investment in Africa for the fourth year in a row, according to “Where to invest in Africa” report issued by the Rand Merchant Bank in 2021.
Neville Mandemika, an economist at RMB, said the re-listing of Egypt is expected by the second half of this year.
A report by the bank on Thursday attributed Egypt's ranking to the improvement in the business environment in the country.
