Egypt introduced on Saturday new automate visas for Sudanese travelers after spotting visa forgery activities by some individuals and groups in Sudan, Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid has said.
Egypt has received more than 164,000 Sudanese people since the outbreak of the crisis in Sudan in mid-April, Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said on Twitter.
A security source has denied reports circulated regarding the mistreatment of Sudanese refugees in Egypt by security authorities.
UN is keen on continuing efforts to support South Sudanese refugees living in Sudan, the UN high commissioner for refugees said.
