The Afghan Defense Ministry said Wednesday that up to 81 militants have been killed and others wounded during operations across the country within a day.
The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted at least 41 airstrikes and 33 ground operations against militants, leaving at least 86 of them dead.
The Afghan Forces conducted at least 45 ground operations and 10 airstrikes in the past 24 hours, leaving at least 51 militants dead.
