UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah bin Zayed affirmed his country’s support to Egypt’s efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis, as he spoke via phone with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.
The United Arab Emirates supports efforts of the international community to reach a political solution to the Libyan crisis and Egyptian “great” efforts in this regard, out of a belief that stability in a Libya is a pillar of Egyptian and national security to Egypt, the Emirati foreign minister said.
Emirati Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah bin Zayed and his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drian on Friday affirmed their support to the Egyptian initiative to end the crisis in Libya, Emirati News Agency (WAM) reported.
Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan met Sunday with visiting British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on ways to boost bilateral relations.
Adel al Jubeir rejected Qatar’s attempts to politicize Hajj matters and reiterated that Qataris are welcome to perform the pilgrimage.
