World Hepatitis Day
The goal comes in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and World Health Organization (WHO) goals to ensure welfare and prosperity to all, the minister said in a delivered speech at the WHO meeting in Geneva to mark the World Hepatitis Day.
On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, which falls on July 28 of each year, the Great Pyramid of Cheops in Giza was lit in blue and orange.
Egypt treated 1,800,000 Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infected patients since October 2014 and the challenge remains in diagnosing unaware patients.
