Egypt’s Al Azhar has strongly condemned the “barbaric behavior” committed by an extremist Israeli official when he stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
Egypt's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Osama Abdel Khalek warned against the Israeli continued attempts to Judaize East Jerusalem, state’s news agency MENA reported.
The meeting tackled the latest developments in Palestinian territories and ways of deescalating the situation in and around Al Aqsa Mosque.
