Production from Egypt’s Giza and Fayoum gas fields, part of BP’s West Nile Delta Development, will jump to 700 million cubic feet per day by April as the country returns to gas export markets, its petroleum minister said on Monday.
Production will reach 400 million cubic feet of gas daily at Giza and Fayoum fields, to gradually hit 700 million cubic feet/day.
Zohr, Noras and North Alexandria gas fields will increase natural gas production by 50 percent in 2018 and Egypt shall achieve self- sufficiency by the end of the year.
