2679 Egyptian citizens evacuated from Sudan as Egypt steps up evacuation efforts

Egypt has stepped up its evacuation efforts in Sudan as it managed to evacuate 1,140 citizens on Wednesday, bringing the total to 2,679, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
