Julius Nyerere Dam
The establishment of Tanzania’s Julius Nyerere by Egyptian and Tanzanian hands reflects Egypt’s commitment to support development programs and projects in the Nile Basin countries, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has said.
The Egyptian consortium also started preparations for retaining water to fill the reservoir of the giant Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project (JNHPP), the ministry added in a statement on Friday.
