International Migrants Day
Egypt celebrates the International Migrants Day, observed by the United Nations every year on 18 December, stressing that the nation aims to achieve development in order to make migration a choice rather than a necessity.
Egypt’s celebration with the International Day of Migrants showed that Cairo has been keen to keep its doors open to migrants and refugees who left their homes and families for a better life.
