Strategic Dialogue
The United States welcomed Egypt’s national plans to boost human rights in cooperation with the civil society sector, a joint statement by the governments of Egypt and the US read on Tuesday following the Egypt-US strategic dialogue held in Washington, D.C.
Other files discussed include the Syrian file, the situation in Sudan, the latest developments of the controversial Grad Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, and the Palestinian-Israeli cause, Hafez said.
Both sides will discuss international and regional issues, human rights, and bilateral cooperation on economic, judicial, security, education, and cultural issues.
