CAIRO - 14 June 2020: As Egypt prepares for receiving tourists at Red Sea, South Sinai and Matrouh resorts in July, it has provided highly competitive prices and offers for airliners and travel agencies.
The government’s incentives include:
1- Cancelling tourist visas for visitors of the mentioned governorates until 31 October 2020
2- A 10-cent discount on every gallon of aviation fuel
3- Airliners will enjoy 50% discount on landing and boarding fees
4- A 20% discount on ground services offered to direct flights to the 3 governorates until 31 October 2020.
5- A 20% discount on tickets of all museums and historical places under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Antiquities
6- More discounts on museums and historical places will be applied on visitors coming on EgyptAir and Air Cairo flights for 15 days.
Egypt closed off to tourism in March due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, but decided to gradually reopen the economy as of July.
