CAIRO- 18 March 2021: Pyramids players, Ramadan Sobhy, Mohamed Hamdy and Ahmed Tawfik are out of the Egyptian national team's next camp due to injury. 
 
The trio suffered injuries during Pyramids 2-0 victory over Namungo of Tanzania in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage. 
 
The players did scans after the game which confirmed that Ramadan and Tawfik are suffering injuries in the hamstring while Hamdy is suffering from an injury in the quadriceps.
 
Pyramids achieved an important victory in Tanzania on Wednesday thanks to two goals from Ramadan Sobhy and Omar Gaber and they are atop of the group table with 6 points. 
 
On a similar note, the Egyptian national team camp will begin on Sunday as the Pharaohs will start preparations for the games against Kenya and Comoros in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
 
Egypt will face Kenya on 25 March in Nairobi while the Pharaohs will host Comoros four days later in Cairo.
 
Egypt and Comoros share the top of the group with 8 points while Kenya comes third in the group with 3 points and Togo stays at the bottom of the group with 1 point.
