CAIRO-27 February 2021: Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hailed former Manchester United player and AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, saying “It's incredible what he's done”.
The two teams will face off in the UEFA Europa League round of 16 in a match that reminds us of historic UEFA Champions League nights.
“When we think back when he was here, when he had a career-threatening injury and the way he's come back, the way he's played, the way he's moved AC Milan towards the top of the league again.” Solskjaer said.
Ibrahimovic represented Manchester United between 2016 and 2018 and he led the club to win the EFL Cup and the UEFA Europa League titles.
Ibrahimovic is not the only player connected to Manchester United who wears Milan’s jersey as the English giants’ loanee Diogo Dalot is now playing for Milan.
Solskjaer added “And of course Diogo is there. So we know that we're in for a good fight but before then we have a few other games that we have to look after."
The Red Devils are second in the English Premier League table, 10 points behind the league leaders and arch-rivals, Manchester United.
