CAIRO, 27 January 2021: The Egyptian national team left the World Cup for Handball, after losing to Denmark by a score of 39-38 after referring to penalty strikes, after the match and overtime ended in a draw, at the Cairo stadium hall in the quarter-finals of the World Handball Championship.
The team presented a distinguished performance throughout the game, and embarrassed the Denmark team in front of the eyes of all observers of the world, and the team players appeared with a high spirit and a very distinguished level, even the Denmark team
The Egyptian national team opened the scoring by Ahmed Hisham "Dudu" in the second minute of the match, and the Pharaohs led by three goals to none while they conceded their first goal in the net in the seventh minute, before Denmark tied 4/4 in the tenth minute.
