Al Ahly face Al Ittihad in Basketball National League's final

CAIRO-26 December 2020: Al Ahly men’s basketball team booked a place in the National League’s final after knocking out Sporting in the semi-finals.

Al Ahly first team defeated Sporting in the first leg 84-65 before winning the second leg on Friday 83-70.

Ona similar note, Al Ahly youth team defeated Sporting’s youth team 68-59 in the first leg while the second leg ended with a 76-75 win for the Red Devils.

The defending champions, Al Ittihad of Alexandria, defeated City rivals, Smouha, to reach the final.

The final’s first leg will be played on Sunday 27 December while the second leg will be played on Tuesday 29 December at Suez Cana Authority Hall.  

Al Ahly players seek revenge as they lost the Super League and the Egyptian Cup titles last season to the Alexandrian giants.
