CAIRO, 20 December 2020: Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly, announced 3 positive cases of Corona virus among the team's squad.
Abdel-Hafeez mentioned that the sample of Muhammad Magdi "Afsha", Amr Al-Sulayyah, and Rami Rabi`ah came out positive.
He also explained that the coach, Pitso Mosimane, is still testing positive until the moment after he was infected with the Corona virus earlier.
Thus, the four members will miss Al-Ahly's trip to Niger to face Sonideb in the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly's mission to Niger will leave today, Sunday, in a private plane, to play the first leg of the 32nd round of the Champions League.
Mosimane had missed Al-Ahly's last match in the Egyptian League against Ghazl El-Mahalla, due to his infection with the Corona virus.
Al-Soulia was injured during the warm-up in front of Ghazl El-Mahalla, and he left the match formation and was replaced by Hamdi Fathy.
