CAIRO-28 November 2020: Al Ahly will face Moroccan side RS Berkane in the CAF Super Cup on 10 December.
Al Ahly will participate in the match after winning the CAF Champions League title on Friday night after defeating arch-rivals Zamalek 2-1.
RS Berkane will participate in the match as 2019-2020 CAF Confederation Cup winners as they defeated Egypt's Pyramids FC 1-0 in the final.
Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced earlier that Egypt will host the CAF Super Cup match.
Al Ahly has a record 6 titles in the competition and they lost the title twice in 1994 against Zamalek and in 2015 against Algeria's ES Setif.
On Friday night, Al Ahly secured their 9th CAF Champions League title after defeating arch-rivals Zamalek.
Al Ahly opened the score after just five minutes thanks to a header from midfielder Amr El Soulia who received a wonderful cross from Ali Maaloul.
Zamalek captain Shikabala equalized the score for the white Knights after 30 minutes as he dribbled three defenders from Al Ahly and shot the ball into the top corner of the goal.
Mohamed Magdy Afsha scored the winning goal for Al Ahly only five minutes before the final whistle to declare Al Ahly Champions of Africa.
