CAIRO, 25 November 2020: ZED Sports Investment Company announced that it has acquired majority shares in Masr Football Company, which owns FC Masr.
This comes within the framework of ZED Company's endeavor to acquire a professional football team that competes in local and international championships.
The deal includes the inclusion of the Egyptian team, born in 99, bringing the number of "ZED” teams for young footballers to 10 teams that were formed in record time, which constitutes a better opportunity to promote new talents to the first class.
ZED company held a press conference to announce this step in the presence of members of the club's board of directors, headed by Onsi Sawiris, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZFC, and the members of the company's board of directors, who are; Hassan Abdo, Haitham Abdel Azim, Ahmed Diab, Mohamed Fakher, Amr Mahmoud Taher, Saif Zahir, Hazem Imam, Ahmed Hossam Mido, Ahmed Hassan, Imad Moteab, and Muhammad Zedan.
ZED Sports Investment Company also announced that Osama Nabih, the former general coach of the Egyptian national team, has chosen the leadership of "ZFC" club, due to the vast experience that the capable coach has acquired from playing in local and international teams, which makes him the ideal choice for leading the club and achieving his vision.
