CAIRO, 23 November 2020: Mohamed Fadl, a member of the five-year committee in charge of managing the Football Association, revealed the date for the African Super Cup to be held in Egypt.
Mohamed Fadl said, "The African Super will be held on the tenth of December."
The Moroccan club, who won the Confederation Cup, is waiting for the winner of the match of the century between Zamalek and Al-Ahly next Friday, in order to face them in the Super match in Egypt.
Fadl cited the date of the Super Cup to demonstrate through his statements with Sada Al-Balad, "Next season in Egypt will be exceptional in terms of match dates."
He continued, "The clubs rejected the idea of modifying the way the league is to be established, and it will be held according to the same system."
"We have informed the clubs that the teams will complete their matches even if their players are called up with the Olympic team," he added.
He completed the "draw for the new season of the league will be held on Monday noon and will not be directed."
Zamalek faces Al-Ahly next Friday in the African Champions League final.
