Salah makes a couple’s day more special while self-isolating

CAIRO-15 November 2020: Mohamed Salah is not available for the national team matches and he is not able to make Egyptian fans happy with his performance on the pitch as he is self-isolating after being tested positive for COVID-19. However, he is still managed to find a way to cheer his fans.

 

While self-isolating in the hotel, Salah posed with a young couple, who did not know that their special day will be more special after being in one photo with the Egyptian star.

 

The photo went viral on social media and the Egyptian fans were happy to see their favorite star happy and smiling. 

 

Egyptian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that the national team's winger Mohamed Salah is in a good health condition.

 

Salah is following the protocol, set by the Ministry, and his case is being monitored by the head of the Ministry's Scientific Committee. 

 

The Egyptian winger tested positive for COVID-19 and he missed Egypt's match against Togo on Saturday night in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

 

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) issued a statement on Friday regarding the player’s case, noting that the player showed no symptoms of the disease.
