CAIRO-7 November 2020: Egypt International Ahmed Fathy revealed on Friday that he will miss El Tetsh stadium, Al Ahly's training ground, and he will come back to visit it.
Fathy played his last game with the Red Devils against El Geish in the last round of the Egyptian league ahead of his move to Pyramids.
"This is the club I supported as a child and I defended its jersey for 12 years, which is the longest spell with one club in my whole career. I did my best for the club till the last minute. I will miss El Tetsh stadium but I will come back to visit the stadium and my teammates." Fathy said.
The player is not eligible for the CAF Champions League final against Zamalek and he will support his teammates from the stands at Borg Al Arab stadium.
"I was sure that we will reach the final and I am sure that we will win the title. It will be a tough game. I have been in Al Ahly for along time and I know the pressure of these games on the players." He added.
Al Ahly will face Zamalek on 27 November in the CAF Champions League final.
